Not too late to say Happy New Year 🥳

Heey Sis,

We are still in January so I hope it’s not too late to say

How are you doing?

I know every year we are determined to grow in the different aspects of our lives which is great. I am finding ways to be more practical in achieving my goals, for example breaking them down into quarterly goals rather than something for the whole year, that way they are more manageable. This book explains better how you can do that.

For today I thought I could share some of my goals this year that may inspire yours.

  • Of course first of all to be consistent with this newsletter

  • To finish studying the Old Testament. I am currently reading the book of Daniel and it has been very enlightening I am learning a lot especially what it means to have strong faith in God, have wisdom in navigating day-to-day, and much more. I wrote a post last year on Getting the most out of your bible study which included some resources to aid bible study

  • Be more intentional with spending quality time with my friends and family

  • Finish a book a quarter ( I do not like reading )

  • Go on a plant-based diet for two weeks - I attempted it last year and failed so we go again this year

  • Write in my God Box whenever I’m starting to feel overwhelmed/worried/doubtful. This is something I started to do last year, so I hope to continue as it helps me. The video below explains what a God box is.

Let me know if you try it and how it goes for you! 🙌🏽 #preaching #christiantiktok #womenpreachers #womenpreach #christian #preachergirl #pastortiktok

  • To not go more than two days without talking to God (this is more for times I may feel in a slump or I don’t want to pray)

I created this chart last year to help whenever I’m feeling some type of way and I thought it could help someone

  • Finally to dwell and enjoy the joyous moments of the year and rest when needed. Sometimes when good things happen we tend to not dwell and enjoy it but move on to the next thing. There will always be another thing but stay in the moment and be grateful to God.

If there is anything you would like to see more of with this newsletter/community or anything new you would like us to do please do let me know

Hope you have a great week, till next time
